Maximilian Seurig
Maximilian did his Bachelor’s in Biochemistry in Bayreuth and his Master’s in Biochemistry in Würzburg before joining the Weis lab for his PhD. He uses high-content microscopy and ribosome profiling to unravel how cells maintain proliferative potential throughout quiescence, and is especially curious about the role of biomolecular condensates in this context. His model systems of choice are yeast and mammalian cells.
Maximilian is always happy to supervise semester and Master’s students.
