Gabriel becomes an EMBO Young Investigator, congratulations!
Prof. Dr. Gabriel Neurohr was selected as a new member of the EMBO Young Investigator Programme. Starting in January, he will be an active member of the programme for four years, and will become part of an international network of nearly 800 current and former EMBO Young Investigators, Installation Grantees and Global Investigators. Congratulations on this achievement!
Neurohr Lab Wins Halloween Group Prize Again!
For the second year in a row, the Neurohr Lab took home the Halloween Group prize at the happy hour hosted by the Weis Lab. This year, we rocked the competition with our creative "Heavy Metals" theme!

We are happy to share that our Postdoc Dr. Sandhya Manohar has been awarded an SNSF Ambizione career grant. Starting in October 2024, she will join the Department for Molecular Mechanisms of Disease at the University of Zürich as a junior group leader. Wishing her all the best in this new role!

IBC Olympics and BBQ
Inspired by the Summer Olympics, this year's annual IBC barbecue was preceded by an Institute Olympics. Our lab joined forces with the rest of G Floor and we obtained a total of 8 medals!
